    This is really weird!
    What is paypal doing really!

Here is another issue: I have a premier account, it states that if you accept credit card payments then fees will be

    1.9% + $0.30 USD to 2.9% + $0.30 USD

On all paymnets whether small or big they are charging me 4 - 4.5%. I just dont understand the calculation. I'm not sure though if there are any hidden costs.

I will give you exmples for very small payments:

    Tested with
    a) $7
    Paypal commission $0.57 USD = 8.14%

    b) $50
    Paypal Commission $2.25 USD = 4.5% commission

Even if we add 0.30 USD to 2.9% as paypal states then also commision is still much higher. Then it should have been $0.50 and $1.75 respectively for $7 and $50 respectively. Right?

Needless to say that then again they earn 3.5-4% on currency conversion when you need to transfer funds to your country (although they state that they will charge just 2.5% after updating curreny rates twice in a day but that is always false.) huh!
Another issue is that if they revrese payments the they dont give any info abt the reversal. This is becoming too much now!

I do not have a premier account so have no idea. But I think you should ask PayPal directly. It is not a good situation.

I know i can ask them and i also know that without properly reading my post they would just send me a link to the fees page where i will again read:

    1.9% + $0.30 USD to 2.9% + $0.30 USD

    Anyway, I found this link:
    http://www.ppcalc.com/

Quite strange is that i couldn't figure this out on their own website but somebody else is proving this info! LOL

I think before you blame them for playing dirty to you I think you better look at business account type.so far there rate is fine to me and I think I can understand the rate fee ,I Dont mind "with the "surprising cut as long they can help me to get my money back to my account ,it is free for $150 anyway so I collect the money until reach that amount before cash out to get free "cut fee

Not sure if you are speaking for paypal and what $150 is free?

Anyway, i have looked into the business model before putting questions here. And its a crap when you don't find something on the company's website and when you google then you get some alien info on the commissions.

Nevermind, i finally found it on paypal too.

Not sure though why they have 3 different links for Fee pages ...lol

One of them goes to "Page not found", the second one shows fees like i mentioned in the first post which doesn't show that there will be diff fees for payment received from diff countries and finally the third one displays it for different countries . Those who need , here is a link

    https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-fees-outside

I havn't checked yet if it matches with the fees they've benn charging.
    Thanks everybody for helping though.
