Help: Hosting Suggestion?

    Hi,

    I have a wordpress powered BLOG and running on share hosting under Hostgator.com and since that blog have more than 120,000 post in it , it takes something between 20 secs to 60 secs to load up,
    even I did installed the WP-SuperCache plugin. It helps a bit but not too much.

    Hostgator.com just send me an email today and tell me the site using too much resource on the server and suggest me to move to dedicated server ($179/month) which is out of my budget.

    Any suggestions? does the VPS will speed things up? or any hosting that is speciality to provide good performance for wordpress site?

    We can offer you a vps for $15/mo, that would suite your needs. A VPS will definitely help, because you can usually get much more ram than you could on shared hosting. You could also go with a cheaper dedicated server. Contact us if you are interested, MSN

    Greetings,

    Depending on the amount of load your site is getting, you may still be eligible for a shared hosting account.

    However, if your site was to effect other users then the shared webhost administrator will have some work to do on optimizing your page :p

    I don't suggest getting a VPS as you will only be upgrading in a month or two up to a dedicated server.

    If you state the space and bandwidth you require I would be able to help you, if its nothing to excessive I should be able to sort you out with a package for about $10 a month.
