    Google can tell if you get a spike in backlinks that has no real
    backing to it.

    That may be true but whats the worst that can happen? I guess it depends where your traffic is primarily coming through. If your seeking Googles approval in everything than yeah, maybe the spike could be a problem/risk. However I haven't heard a lot of people saying they've had that problem, mind you - I haven't heard someone getting 1000+ backlinks a week either ;)

    How did you manage to get 1000 BLs that fast? I am currently trying to get some for a client I wrote content for recently and it is proofing pretty difficult.

    it depends on the anchor text link from other sites.Besides,you get 2000 BL just during 2 weeks.It is easy to be considered cheating search engine.What's more,there are so many factors influence the rank of google.Only BL may not be able to make you rank 1 page of google
