Does anyone know of a simple to use lottery application, which will pick a number between whatever range I give it, and randomly pick a winning number***

I have been running a lottery competition on my weedguru forum.

And I am due to make the draw tonight...rather than rip up 50 bits of numbered paper, is there a free to download lottery program or number picker program, which will do this for me...***

Be careful theres no actual prizes, otherwise there could be some complications about having a lottery \ gambling thing setup. Isn't that whack?

I talked to a guy who was running a big lotto website (informally) in Texas years ago, ended up getting shut down. Although Since its for a weedguru forum you should probably be fine.

Long story short I dont' know of one, but keep looking and keep puffin.

Make one in PHP (rand();) or Javascript. Or use: google.co.uk/search?q=random+number+generator

There are actual prizes...this month there is a dutch passion grinder up for grabs. Nobody would have entered were there not a prize...I will use the google random number program...as I am not competent enough with php or javascript to make a simple random number selector. Thanks for the responses, you two...

    In fact, I will use
    http://www.random.org/

Just a shame I can't get one which the members of my forums can watch spin and then select a number...that would be ideal!

if you have some money to put up then call on rentacoder, let someone bid on the project, and go from there. codings can create just about anything you can come up with.

Its primarily for webcams but you should be able to get your webcam facing the screen so that when you use that random.org everyone who is watching cna see it, might not be as clear as a screencast but i can't think of any live programs for screencasts sorry.
