Hard work really does pay off

I've been lurking around here for a while gathering tips and ideas for improving my site's CTR and I'm finally making about $20/day and the number keeps going up!

My effective CPM is quite low however - about $0.85. I'm still experimenting with ad placements and keywords and such because my site should be capable of making more than $20 on a 20,000+ impression day. Thanks! :D

It's a sort of hit counter service. Most of our users are in the 16-25 year old range and live in the United States.

Consider adding CPM banners to take advantage of the impressions. You don't need to choose either/or between banners and Adsense; you can use both.

LanceCoder, why don't you share some tips (a list perhaps) that you implemented on your site?

I'm not sure that I did anything special that hasn't already been discussed on these forums. One thing I did notice, however, was that running fewer ads resulted in a higher CTR, possibly because people go 'ad-blind' when they see a page saturated in them?

    That's part of it :)

Well, It is hard to get to that point I guess but now he probably can sit, do nothing and earn.
That's good about useful websites, you strugle to get people to visit it than slowly it grows
by itself and you earn money doing nothing.
