Google Index 14,000+ posts of mine , Yahoo only do 2900 .

I wonder how to make yahoo crawl more on me, index more of me and success in yahoo.

I understand Google works more on off-site , while yahoo on-site and the usage of <b> tag on keywords , meta , title etc.

Hope some experts could guide me on increasing yahoo index rate.

Log into your yahoo account and go to site explorer - do a search for it in yahoo or google.

Once you are in your yahoo site explorer account, submit either an RSS feed or a site map. This will help yahoo index your site better.

I have the same thing with yahoo. THey crawl my page probably 2:1 to google bot and yet I have probably 4 times more links for google. I think the requirements of yahoo's are just more strict.

You need a little bit patience for Yahoo. In term of indexing, Yahoo usually give more priority for those aged sites.

Yahoo usually takes a lot longer than Google to index new pages. If your posts are new and relevant you might just need some time. Adding your blog to technorati and other RSS readers can help. If the posts are old, unique and still not indexed you might need to build some links back to them, check the navigation and structure of your website, or they might not be relevant to yahoo.

Google is not search engine friendly! Your site has to be search engine friendly!
