Clickbank's new policy.. whatsoever to suggest association or affiliation with or endorsement by ClickBank without the express prior written consent of ClickBank, which ClickBank may withhold at its sole discretion. Promotional use of images or reproductions of Payment checks issued by ClickBank without the express, written consent of ClickBank is prohibited. Guess all those internet marketing sites can't show their checks anymore. Bummer cause that's great promotion material.. Guess they're cleaning up
What? I get a high off seeing some of those huge paychecks pics. I believe this is because they have discovered that someone has found a way to manipulate and inflate the clickbank commissions stats data and I carnt blame them. You cannot doubt that promoting any product without some proof in income on the sales page is going to be difficult. Therefore any dude could get make any claim that he made $34,000 in one day and calim on the next line writes "because of Clickbank check policy I am unable to disclose my income earned, I have written to CB to get their permission but they refuse to give in"...hmmmm now tell me?
Or maybe because some vendors show their vendor checks as evidence that there is money to be made, but the pics don't exactly state that this money was made as a vendor and not as an affiliate. Preventive measures to stop shady business?
No one actually shows checks nowadays. Everyone displays CB stats from the account's home page...So not a big deal...
The statement actually says "Promotional use of images OR reproductions of Payment checks" I would gather a printscreen of their Clickbank account constitutes "Promotional use of images".
I don't believe them anyways after i watched a YOUTUBE video on how to alter pictures so you can advertise that you made more money than you really did.
Who hasn't began their online marketing career as a result of seeing someone holding up a big check? But seriously, I'd never trust a site that has pictures of big clickbank checks all over the place anyways. Sure, some of us DO make a decent living promoting Clickbank products, but to photograph yourself holding up a huge-ass check shows someone who either: Has a big ego, Really good at photoshop, and/or Willing to sell out his dignity for a few extra bucks Never trust those people. Make money by promoting high-quality digital products to people who can use them. Don't waste your money buying from people who scan copies of their checks.
Hehe... I can't see them giving consent for such things. It's like when publishers say, "Do not reproduce this book and resell it without consent ofthe publisher."
I don't know. In my opinion its like saying "Hey, before you post your proof of income.. let us know so we can maybe verify it?" would hope so!
Eh, I'm indifferent about it. I don't find things like paychecks/screenshots convincing anyways. Almost everything on these sites is photoshopped these days. I've been making money through Clickbank for almost a year now and never put up a photo/scanned image of my check, so I guess I don't have to worry about it too much
No worry anyways - show them your cb login stats instead. Checks are old school now anyways, I thought..?
Follow the new rules of clickbank otherwise, get banned from clickbank. This is for your safety to follow the certain guidelines of clickbank and any other programmes.
how does not posting a faked check pic make you safer???? its not like some russian dudes gonna come and bust your kneecaps for being full of crap about earning potential
Be ready to see more and more fake clickbank screenshots as the proof of earning, since they can now claim that clickbank disallow them to show their check.
I don't mind at all. When I launched a product in the "Make Money" niche, the Clickbank staff actually verified if those numbers were real and actually belonged to me... They gave me the green light ...there will be less scam out there.
