    For 2 years now I'm working on Macosx. 10000 times better than Windows!
    And I think Win 7 won't be much better than Vista.

    I just tried to reformat my desktop (had reformatted twice before) and my Vista Disc2 freezes at 79%. I called HP and they said well your out of luck, but we will send you another set for $50 > hung up on them.

    yeap, windows xp is definitely faster! Although it is good and welcome that Vista has many visual upgrades.
    But simple file transfers should be better and faster i think. Even with good hardware it does an average job.

    i use vista ultimate for 6 months and the only thing i can complain are some updates that messes up the system and sometimes make it impossible to boot..other than that i like all the features, graphic display. you should have a good system in order to run vista and of course a lot of space for it..from 1.5 GB now i've got 30GB only on C which is Vista only :)

    I will tell you in about a month .... I have a job as a simulation instructor within the army (I.T).

    I love vista. I like the feel, and there isn't anything that I have found in the past year that is just completely wrong with it. I also like the ability to use the built in handwriting recognition in Vista, which is why I switched in the first place.

    Nothing wrong with Windows Vista. I've been using "Ultimate" for a year now and I browse the website a lot, never have I had any slow-downs nor security problems. It's the end-user at fault if you find yourself with viruses or in particular slow-downs because you have a poor machine.

    I mean for crying outloud, I can run Windows Vista on my pentioum 4 (To which I did, until I upgraded) and still ran fast.
