Seems like many unwanted domains get attached to a directory. I think the domains are a better fit for a social bookmarking site. But this is the internet and nearly anything can be branded and succeed with a lot of hard work!
The only positive part I see is that most of them are pronouncable but then we still have lot of 5L's which can be regged... so the idea is they are still not on verge of extinction..if you develop them you can get a fair deal ,if you can brand and market it well then sky is the limit ..if not sit on it for some time till 5Ls becomes a rare sight and then sell it.. In todays market you might be able to sell it for low $xx
