I want to get paid more per click

I have a website that is getting a few hits, it also has a few people clicking on the ads. So far this month 110 people have clicked the ads. I have made $4.63

In my view that is rubish. And I wont be able to give up my real job any time soon lol.

The niche is live scores for football. Is there anything I can do to get more money per click?

I also hve affiliate ads on the site, loans, betting and dating. They get clicks but no one ever does anything to earn me money. Im getting people going on the site so how can I make more from it.

Try to figure out what are the high paying Keywords. Use the Competitive ad filter in ADSENSE

 

It's hard work. Think about products related to football you can also help sell, and include some more targeted keywords towards it than just "live scores". Look up football in the adwords keyword tool (or whatever program you're using for PPC) and find out what phrases might pay more than a few pennies

 

Try increasing your site content and having a good ad placement, that should increase your earnings.

 

The problem is its a live score site so there is no content apart from the live score feed.

But your right. I need to add some content and use the ad filter to get the best ads displayed. Today I have had 7 clicks and made $0.39 its a complete joke.

Do the ads pick the keywords up from the content only or can they pick it up from the page title?

Ads mainly pick the content from the site content, not the title.

Please stay on topic, he is asking how to increase his pay per click rates, not looking for a paid to click site.

 

Right today I have had one click and got $0.04 Its a slow day for people visiting the site but as there are not many games on tonight and most people are probably watching what is on down the pub its not unusual.

I have tried to use the ad filter to filter the ads but am not really sure what Im doing. How do I know if one of the adds I decide to filter is actually a higher paying add than what is going to replace it?

I dont know what ad network. How can I find out. I just stick some Google code in and hope for the best. I think I may need to read up on getting the best from Ad sense any one got any suggestions?

By the way, today one click and .20 cents. So its getting better. But as I say I dont really know what Im doing and if thats just whats being paid out today only.

You could try adding other sites or adding some content which pays higher per keyword as not all content pays that well.

 

Soccer site is easy to get traffic, get more traffic, play around with your ads placement to increase the CTR and study on soccer related high pay keyword

 

But how?

Its easy to say do this and that but I dont know how.

Where do you get your traffic from? Organic?

If so, you need to google keyword suggestion tool and figure out what keywords in your niche get bid high. Then create landing pages for those keywords. In them you can presell some affiliate program.

 

i think you need to run google analyst and try to find more worthy google keyword in your content thats the only option.
