I am doing my regular works like offpage for the site Kindly help me to gain my rankings for the site by guiding The site is http://whenwewerecasuals.com/ Thanks in Advance
Firstly, if you are targeting the UK then you should use Google Webmaster Tools to set the geo targeting for your domain to the UK. Few other points: 1. Home page title tag - add the word Vintage after Lyle and Scott 2. Home page - reduce the size of the main image and put some text on the page that includes your keyphrases. 3. Reduce the amount of footer links - you have six links to the Lyle and Scott page and you only need one. 4. Your source code seems to contain a lot of javascript. Try putting it in an external file. 5. Lyle and Scott Vintage page - remove the underscores in your title tag. Reduce the amount of other words in the title. Most importantly of all, get one links pointing to the home page and the Lyle and Scott page using the anchor text 'Lyle and Scott Vintage'.
Hi, There have been quite a few updates going on over the last 10 days. The page listed on page 8 is this one http://www.whenwewerecasuals.com/pr...tt Vintage True Navy Short Sleeve Polo Shirts The also appears to be an identical page with an updated or slightly different URL http://whenwewerecasuals.com/produc...t_Vintage_True_Navy_Short_Sleeve_Polo_Shirts_ Have you made updates/modifications or is the site generating multiple URLs for the same pages?
Try adding some paragraphs of text which contain your keywords. Create more backlinks by finding forums related to your keywords. Post to them and to social media sites regularly.
If you look at the bottom of the page, you have used multiple <h1> headers. <center> <table width="800" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> <tr> <td><span class="footerlinks"> <h1><a href="http://www.whenwewerecasuals.com/brands/10000-2-1/Lyle_And_Scott_Vintage">Lyle And Scott Vintage - Knitwear</a></h1>, <h1><a href="http://www.whenwewerecasuals.com/brands/10000-3-1/Lyle_And_Scott_Vintage">Lyle And Scott Vintage - Outerwear</a></h1>, <h1><a href="http://www.whenwewerecasuals.com/brands/10000-1-1/Lyle_And_Scott_Vintage">Lyle And Scott Vintage - Polo Shirts</a></h1>, <h1><a href="http://www.whenwewerecasuals.com/brands/10000-5-1/Lyle_And_Scott_Vintage">Lyle And Scott Vintage - T-Shirts</a></h1>, <h1><a href="http://www.whenwewerecasuals.com/brands/10000-12-1/Lyle_And_Scott_Vintage">Lyle And Scott Vintage - Shirts</a></h1>, Google will consider this "spamming" for multiple use of the <h1> tag. Just remove the <h1> and </h1> code and you will still get what you are trying to do. I also think that it is to many links and not enough text.
As catanich pointed out, you have multiple <h1>s... That is NOT valid HTML. Only one <h1> per page... but you can have multiple <h2>...<h6>. Also your <title> element is not at all focused ("Lyle_And_Scott_Vintage - Polo Shirts - Knitwear - Outerwear - T-Shirts - Shirts - Shorts")... You have too many words. It looks like you want this particular page to rank for "Polo Shirts", "Knitwear", "Outerwear", "T-shirts", "shirts", "shorts", AND "Lyle_And_Scott_Vintage"... that is too much. Your title should have 1, maybe 2-3 keyword phrases... and only 2-3 if all of them are closely related. Why did you include underscores in "Lyle_And_Scott_Vintage" in the title? It should read "Lyle And Scott Vintage". I would suggest a much more focused <title> element value like <title>Lyle and Scott Vintage</title> or <title>Lyle and Scott Vintage Clothing</title> or <title>Lyle and Scott Vintage - Lyle and Scott Vintage Clothing</title>. Also your page doesn't even appear to be in the Google.co.uk index. Try searching Google.co.uk for "site:http://whenwewerecasuals.com/brands/10000-1/Lyle_And_Scott_Vintage". I get no results.
yeah recently i removed the space and added underscore to the site but Google is showing the old indexed data which has "http://www.whenwewerecasuals.com/product/504/Lyle And Scott Vintage/Lyle And Scott Vintage True Navy Short Sleeve Polo Shirts" numeric letters Google has still not indexed the new pages if google starts indexing will my ranking be back
Hi Can you brief me about the Google Snake Bite and how to get out of this problem as this is my main site http://www.whenwewerecasuals.com/ and rankings are going up and down like yesterday it was on 63 today ots on more than 100 for Lyle And Scott Vintage
check those keywords which rank drop and start doing offsite work as a anchor text for those new words
May be some of other competitors working well than you or may be some of you back links are not from a good site
it's normal to google to get a sudden drop in ranking, just follow the google webmaster tools guideline "they are GOds", do a reinclusion if ever your site disappear.
