You should give some credit to the New Zealand bowlers for exploiting the pitch condition really well and some dis-credit to Indian batsmen for batting so recklessly!

New Zealand played quite well today. Credit goes to them. However, India should not worry. They have won the one-day series and it doesn't matter if they have lost a match. History has been created.

They should concentrate on test matches now. I am sure India will continue its good performance in the test matches as well.

Bottom line - One should not be afraid of failures. The cause of the failure should be recognized and it should be taken care of. That will help the team in reaching the level of perfection. :)

Indian Captain Dhoni blamed the failure yesterday, partly due to the mistake in reading the pitch! He confessed that he did not anticipate that pitch would show movement in the early part of the game making it little difficult to bat on.

In the hindsight, it does appear as if batting was relatively easier in the second innings.... :(

That was nice as he accept it and we shouldn't give too much importance to that loss but we should think about overall results which we never get in many years.:)

The test matches are scheduled to begin 3.30 am IST (11.00 am local time).

In fact, Indian broadcaster SONY, actually requested the New Zealand board to delay the start by one hour so that it could get maximum viewership from India, but NZ board has rejected the request.... :(

Score Update: First Test Match...India Vs. New Zealand

New Zealand are struggling at 141/6 !!

Wow...India surely had a great start and hopefully our bowlers would continue the good work and finish up the tail...equally fast!
