where to put robots.txt in public html

    i created forum site
    www.boomint.net/forum where i redirected from www.boomint.net when user open the page it will open the forum page because of redirect........
    so where i have to put robots.txt
    in forum folder or public html folder........

    Of course, edit the urls to reflect the different locations.

    quite true - Robots.txt should always be put in the public html folder although it sounds like you're having trouble with your .htaccess as well, correct me if I'm wrong.
