How could I check if a site has a virus on it or not?

    Hello,

    I mean if the site in question has a virus that could harm my computer when I go to that site.

    If you are worried about catching computer virus's from websites when you surf the web you dont have to be - If you use Mozilla Firefox with NoScript (Addon) and AdBlock Plus (Addon)

    NoScript will prevent any scripts from executing unless you allow them to.
    AdBlockPlus will get rid of 99.9% of ad's on most web pages so it saves you loading time and bandwidth.

    and fasterfox (add ons) will make your firefox faster :)

    Google has a siteadvisor option you can turn on in Firefox somewhere. It's spotted a couple malicious sites for me
