Any tips for my new forum?

I've started PostExchanger.com as a service to help other forum members. It contains a section to exchange members and posts, a services section, and a webmaster's forum. I just recently changed the whole forum design and layout.
The forum is now dead ( 0 activity), I am planning to re-launch it soon after I find a staff that can help me do the services work. Any tips or feedback that would help me out is appreciated. Thanks.

The forum markers are a bit big, but I love the skin. I'd try to have less forums and have friends help you make more threads.

Wow, that's a great skin! I love it!

Yeah, I'd definitely cut back on the amount of forums you have. It's a common mistake to have too many in the beginning.
You need to start out small, and as your forum grows, you will see the need for more forums; that's when you add them.

Hire someone to post on your forum, that would jump start your forum again.

    Hello,

One thing I like to consider when starting a new forum is what I would like to do better/different than the competition.

What are you offering that is better/different that other post exchange services?
