Hello folks, let me introduce myself to you all and tell you my little success story.

My name is Dunstan and I’m from Malaysia. I'm also known as CorollaGT in various affiliate marketing forums and I work as a teacher for my full time job. But as we all know, a teaching profession doesn’t come with a high wage. That's why I became a part time online marketer about two years ago.

Today I will share with you my experience and hopefully this will inspire some of you.

As I said, I started my online money making journey around two years ago. I didn’t know much about internet marketing back then. It all was new to me. I had to learn how to build websites and blogs, how to use tracking links, insert images, and more importantly – how to promote the products. Did I tell that English is my 3rd language actually?

Anyways, long story short, I started to build simple blogs and sites that slowly started to get some traffic. I used AdSense to start with so seeing these 5-20 cent clicks kept me motivated. It wasn’t easy to collect my first check but hey, I was just starting out so it was great!

I understand that if I keep experimenting and testing, then eventually I will get where the big money is. I spent a lot of time learning and reading everything I could get my hands on. It probably took around 4-5 months before I made my affiliate first sale. It was a nice $40 commission which made me think, "Wow, if I can make couple of these a week then I can easily surpass my current wage!"

I was right. All it took was shifting focus from cheap AdSense clicks (as my traffic wasn’t that huge at all), and I started more actively to promote affiliate products with high commissions.

The biggest change in my earnings happened thanks to joining MoreNiche. See, I’m still bad at generating 1000s of visitors a day. Most of my sites have 30-50 visitors a day but that’s fine, because I focus on high paying products, like health products. From the second quarter of last year I started to promote Proactol as an affiliate. It is a weight loss product that can earn you as much as $130 per sale.

Just a couple of sales a month makes a big difference to me.

Shown below is screenshot of my 2008 earnings that I got from MoreNiche. Looks good for a part timer, eh?

As you can see, in some good months (the one bolded in RED), the commissions that I get is even more than my own wage as a teacher here ($550/mo)! MoreNiche has really help me double my income, which has boosted my financial security and lets me enjoy life more.

November/December were slower months due to Christmas, but that’s normal. I don’t sell Christmas toys on my sites, hehe. So it is ok with me.

Speaking of my sites, I have 20+ now, some are normal domains, some are blogs that I use for linking and AdSense. Probably, if I had only one site (project), I wouldn’t find success the way I have now.

I normally build a site with 10-20 pages of content and then add, more every month. I do a little linking from my blogs and some social sites but overall I’m bad at SEO. However, it works for me and as you can see in my screenshot, I made some good money with my method.

If you like, I can teach you too! All you need to do is join MoreNiche using my link on my signature below and I’ll help you get started. You can even get $45 just for signing up.

Ah, and the best thing that happened to me in MoreNiche is that while I was actively promoting Proactol, they ran a Golden Ticket Campaign with many great prizes!

Guess what? Because I was sending steady sales, I happened to be picked as the lucky winner for the Main Prize – a brand new laptop!

I fell off from my chair when I got a notification that I’m the lucky one! I was quite busy working on sales, but it turns out they were giving 5 entries per sale you make, so I got quite few of these and got the lucky ticket! FANTASTIC!

I absolutely love MoreNiche and Proactol for this!

    So that's it for now.

Well, I actually read your other post here in DP -- the one where you talk on the new laptop you won from MoreNiche. And I am supposed to be asking you to share your experience and techniques to interested co-members here in DP.

I am actually also from Asia (Philippines to be exact) and Malaysians and Filipinos look alike -- well we belong to the same Malay race!

With that intro, I am expressing my desire to be part of your group in MoreNiche and I hope to be mentored by you on how to make money here. Making even just $300/month with this could be another heaven to me...

    Thanks a lot.

Nope, pure SEO, no PPC involved. SEO is always the better option, cheaper and cost effective in the long run. PPC will dry your wallet if you're not carefull hehe

Owh yeah, the earning figures are just what I make at Moreniche. My other affiliate programs makes me lots too :D

How can you say your selling affiliate items that come up to $160 per sale yet PPC would dry your wallet, surely if you targetted your site with $160 of PPC advertising then you sales would surpass such a profit and boost you due to the investment?

Don't most businesses take some of their gain and re invest it?

Sure mate, PM me for details

It's not impossible, you just has to give your full focus on it. Any work that is done with full concentration and dedication will surely gives you benefit in the end.

Thanks, just sharing my story mate

Yes mate, I answered your question saying PPC would dry the wallet because I speak from past experience, whereas I started as a complete newbie and tried everything.

Let's say you re-invest back the $160 that you've gotten from a sale in a PPC campaign. But you have no experience in handling PPC and then, the money would be wasted. It could take more than $160 in order to make a sale. Just advising newcomers to be carefull, thats all. I've lost quite an amount in PPC trying to learn but to no avail, meh maybe I wasn't destined to be master in it I think.

But, if you're a super duper PPC specialist then there's nothing holding you back ... go for it! :D Reinvest back those profits and make more money out of it :D

Well, in my case, I'd rather reinvest my clean profits on hiring others to do SEO for my multi sites, since I suck on SEO. Outsourcing others to do jobs you're not good at is a good strategy to keep your money making mechanism keeps on going, you're not stuck at any point.

I'd spend more on buying good domain names too, especially those that has keywords that's related to whatever niche I am doing, there's good money to be made there. These domains surely will last longer than any PPC or whatever strategies out there, we're looking at cheaper ways to generate the most amount of money with the less amount of capital involved.

Hope my replies answered your questions mate :D

PM me for the details mate :)

Well, I have quite an arsenal of secret free technique's that works. Minimal SEO does not mean if your site is not up in the SERP's that you can't get sales, it will just takes longer. What's important is the traffic, laser targeted traffic sent into your site is the most important thing.

I'm sure it will be inspiring for affiliates here to read your story. Good job man! To me as someone on the network side of the business, it's refreshing to see an honest, successful affiliate from a country that is considered high-risk in terms of fraud. Again, keep up the good job!
