Does CJ Scam Sales????

just curios guys, lets say they dont give us our money back or give only haft etc, what would we do then?
when signing up for the bodybuilding.com affiliate program we did kinda accept theier terms of service and so on

Ah ha! You are exactly correct. I don't know what I was thinking...

 

If we don't get paid, there will be a huge uproar from the affiliates. I believe we could sue them for the commission, and they would have to prove why we don't deserve it. It might be some sort of class-action sort of thing? Not exactly sure. Hopefully CJ would give us assistance because I am sure this thing has happened before.

Bodybuilding.com has built up an amazing reputation in the past decade or so, and I don't think it is worth it to them to ruin it by doing something like this...

There are WAAY too many other decent supplement affiliate programs out there.

Anyway, probably a waste of time thinking like this. I am pretty sure it will all be worked out.

I will give Crystal a call tomorrow in the morning.

Ryan (CEO) got back to me advising that it might be because of spamming the forums. I advised him that over 20 people are having the same problem and forum spamming wouldn't be the reasoning for this.

Nonetheless, he said Crystal was out of town and will be back in the office today. Hopefully we have a resolution today!

My site gets discussed in there all the time, but its not from me. Other people share links to my site because it is a useful resource when trying to decide which supplements to buy, and this is not a new thing from February.

It would be a joke if that is what it is from!

Are you kidding..I don't even post in the forums. He just assumed..that's probably why most people get reversed payments which is why he mentioned it. Does Crystal have an e-mail? Anyone see her bodyspace

 

Yesterday 2 of my Hostgator sales from January were reversed in CJ. How the heck can someone reverse sales after two months have passed?

 

I've never spammed my CJ links in the forums. And that wouldn't explain why everyone was reversed for just february at the same time. January and march have been untouched. It sounds like everyone is clueless and this is getting me mad.

Crystal is the affiliate manager, her email is crystal and also affiliates.


I haven't heard anything back new from cj or crystal.

My ads were exclusively on facebook and nowhere else. There's nothing prohibiting facebook advertising, is there? I paid money for the traffic.

I just emailed carmen (the person cj told me to contact) and she said she doesn't have any new info.

What the heck is going on? Crystal is nowhere to be seen for the last 3 days and CJ doesn't seem to know whats going on.

 

It's not working out the way I wanted it to. I'm basically breaking even, but since I found about $250 in facebook advertising (most expired now, you can try to search on the web for current ones), the money was free to burn. BB is the only one that converted at all.

 

It sounds promising that it is a tech glitch and not a deliberate act.. Or is what CJ is saying merely PR gibberish?

 

I did check out crystals bodyspace page.

She looks like a qualified affiliate manager.

 

They never said it was a glitch. No one has said anything really important. If bb.com would tell us what happened we would know.

 

I think it is pretty unprofessional of bodybuilding.com to be keeping everyone out of the loop like this. Its a lot of money that just went missing...

 

Terrible people running their affiliate program over at bb.com...this is ridiculous and unacceptable!

 

Just got an email back from Crystal:

What a relief!

I guess they are working to get the whole thing sorted out so that all my valid commissions will be reinstated.

Will let everyone know when I see the commissions back in my account.
