I too did receive the same email. What should I do now? Most of the CB vendors are P2P sites ...movies, music, PSP, iPod, Satellite TV for PC, Wii etc. Will they move to any other network?
There are plenty more things to promote on clickbank although it does suck. I'm pretty sure they will just do something similar to Pspblender and get their own in house affiliate program or move to Paydotcom or similar.
i got the email to...this happen bcoz clickbank doesn't want to pays royalty to the item producer if i not mistaken..if clickbank agree to that...this will lead them to bankrupt.. although you find other digital product or switch to another programe as mentioned by terryd
Hi Guys... This email proves that clickbank will no longer accept these sites Looks like a reduced income for many people
So, with PlatinumPartner sites out of the CB scene and ALL the TV to PC products out as well this means an opportunity to new merchants to get the affiliates that are not going to follow these programs to the other networks... nice.
lol screw cb in their stupid fat asses... they have laods of crap on there thats illegal and scammy anywaya so why single out one thing? one of my affilaite managers just told me that pretty much every refugee merchant from cb just joined their network... things like fastdownloads and sharing access so if anyone wants to resign up as an affiliate to these guys pm me and i can send you a singup link this stuffs gonna be around for ages you just have to know where to look for it
I say good riddance. I don't think it would be a good business plan for anyone to follow these P2P programs further underground, time for you to find a new niche. just my $0.02.
I agree with Scotech it has been good while it lasted as these were good sellers but I think the time has come to find a new niche and start promoting the new niche as hard as you promoted the P2P ones. Pete
If you are really into promoting these P2P sites, I am sure they will find another affiliate network to carry them, or launch their own, in-house affiliate programs if they are able to do so.
That's the point - you didn't really have to promote the p2p stuff. I made over $10k in january w/ just one link on livevideo.com. I didn't even have a landing page. Just a corny video, and a direct hoplink. I agree that you should concentrate on more legitimate business. But it's hard to turn down the other money on the side, when you see it given away so easily.
see how to solve this issue which is done with http://downloadgang.com "Please note that we do not bill for membership to this website. By clicking the 'Checkout' button, you will be redirected to the payment page of IPod Video Converter Site. Membership to our website comes complimentary as a bonus with iPod Video Converter." - From the payment page of DownloadGang.com
I found an alternative to Clickbank for these types of products. The site is YourClick.com I just signed up, I'm going to test it out and let you guys know how the system works. It is true that PayDotCom has P2P products but they only accept PayPal payments which really limits the number of possible transactions...this is really dissapointing. Also, their sites are not known to be high converting websites from my experience Yourclick.com, in my opinion really looks like something interesting...they even have The Movie Downloads website up!
