I have being assigned task to design a site. So to design front end which one is said to be best choice ?
    I have 2 choices, like
1st one is use XSLT, XML with PHP
    or
2nd using smarty template i.e. TPL file and PHP ?

Need some good reason for using the one from both.

I like to use old fashioned PHP & HTML combo, with a touch of CSS here and there :)

I fkn hate Smarty. Not many people know it, and lots that do, hate it.

Why do you need to use XSLT and XML?
Stick with straight up (X)HTML and PHP.

I like Smarty... because it's separate design part from coding part
