    This is such an old old story. And he keeps the pic on his blog for anyone to see. It's a great marketing tool.

    And many many people made some pretty big checks by SCRAPING content and just mass producing pages with automated software tools. This went on for quite some time before Google shut them down.

    Again this is not news. You can no longer use the methods they were using to scrape in the cash.

    You could to, go and put 50 000 into ad's, go and hire a series of quality bloggers with cred', then invest in a team of 10 webmasters (employees), then manage 10 websites (or more).

    Takes money to make money .... how much does he spend in month to gain this cash ?

    It so amazing that it can be done but do small and little guys like who who are on a shoestring budget can achieve that? That is the Million dollar question. I have been working hard on this but hasn't got tho where I would like myself to be. It's a good inspiration to dream of and try and duplicate eaht he had accomplished.

    In short no .... you need to understand that even Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and Youtube struggle to make a profit online .... monetization is tough and getting the traffic is the easy part .... quite often the profit and money is not made until the site sells out ....

    The little guy or single site operator has limited time and can only achieve so much in a day .... to be successful you must be knowledgeable in many fields of the www - like hosting and setting up multiple servers ....

    The little guy will need to employ or out source work and do it effectively ....

    It could be fake that is how he got himself famous! If it was real he would have a success story in google. Wouldn't this be on the news! Like it is likely fake since it was just his blog and it is just one freakin picture! He didn't want to spend a lot of time!

    If it was real it would have been on the new like crazy! And google would have confirmed it! So think about it why is it only on his blog it is the biggest check! :D

    Why would that be news worthy ? the news would be full of webmasters if this crap made the news .... there are a lot of web masters making this kind of cash and they never make the news .... like Perez Hilton - he doesn't make the news .... he's just a lame ass who lands the occasional gig on a radio station ....
