Should i place an AD on the main Blog Page ?

    i have 3ad units placed in my posts, but no ads on the front page

    should i be putting any ad there ? the link is first in my sigi

    You can add up to 3 ad units to each page, AFAIK.

    You're very much encouraged to do so!, why wouldn't you? most visitors will land there, so it's your best earning start point.
    try to make it attractive enough so it would fit it your blog
    try to make it outstanding enough so it will yield results.

    If you want, you can add 2 ads at the lower part of your sidebars (even though its not a hot spot, you might increase adsense earning there thru high number of pageload / visit.

    u can place many ads on main page as much u can.no limit in it.for an example u can see my mesothelioma blog.

    i have decided not to go for any changes in the placement as per this month. next month would be putting up some front page ads ..

    you can only add 3 standard ad units, 2 link ad units and 2 search boxes. If you would place another ad block on the front page then the allow number of standard ad units will exceed which is against the policy.

    The 4 th and rest ad units will not be showing any ads in case you have more than 3 on a single page.
