Going through with it currently! I've made my first sale and none of my articles are live on EZA. My EZA account is somewhat messed up - I have 8 random other articles live, but it says I ran out of submits. I'm waiting to hear back from them on approval for upgrade to platinum or whatever.

I've written 25 articles total, 15 are live on searchwarp, amazines, and ideamarketers. I'm getting a trickle of traffic, I get good views on all three, but strangely enough statcounter is only registering searchwarp traffic coming through to my blog. I'm not sure what the issue is, because my links on the other two are functional!

From searchwarp I've had 30 hits, and one sale! 35 dollars. I was beyond thrilled when I logged in to see that. Not bad so far! 7 clickthroughs and 1 sale for 5 dollars EPC. The pessimist and realist in me is telling me 5 dollars EPC on a product that usually has between 1-2 is way too high to sustain, but it's a good sign nonetheless.

I created another account on EZA to keep it going, but EZA takes ages. Updates on this will be slim for another week or two when EZA gets their shit together for me. I'd like to be submitting 5 daily (as I did for 3 days) but for now I'm writing 5 articles daily nonetheless and stockpiling them for EZA. Once I have the process down to where I have enough backlogged on there that I'm getting 5 submitted AND approved daily, we'll be able to see how this works out. Currently I'm choosing a keyword, doing 5 variations on it, for 5 articles.

This will lead me to 150 articles/month. Assuming each lander makes 2-3 sales/month on average, I'll be making between 2-3 grand per month. If I repeat another 150 articles the next month, I'll make 2-3 grand from that, with hopefully another 1000 in residuals from EZA articles/keywords that have caught some traction with google.

I'll let yall know how it goes as I get there. Like I said, right now it's just waiting for EZA. I would also be hitting articlesbase as I wait, but I really don't like their format - they use contextual ads throughout your article, then run a banner of their own adsense before they let you show your resource box. I'm avoiding it for now, but will likely plug it there after EZA along with the secondary and tertiary article sites to get some extra traffic juice.

I have to say i read the whole thread and this is a very well thought through method! The only thing i dont get is that you said that right now you are trying to get some money for hosting and domains of your own. So I am assuiming you dont have your own domain with your own blog right now. Where do you send the readers of your articles then? Where are your landers? I am asking because i want to try something like this too but before i invest a fortune in domains and hosting i want to see how it basically works and converts first.

Alright, Still working on getting the original 15 articles approved. I had 10 more written, and was gonna hold off til EZA go my shit sorted out, but alas it's taken too long.

    Things learned:
Goarticles, Ideamarketers, and Amazines all get decent traffic quantity, but none of it clicks through
Buzzle doesn't accept articles if you have them posted elsewhere
EZA is even more picky than I remembered!

    My new submission strategy:
Submit articles to buzzle first - They'll check to see if the articles are elsewhere, and since they aren't they'll approve them
Submit them to EZA at the same time - EZA takes an eternity so a few days after buzzle publishes them, they'll pop up on EZA
After buzzle publishes them, submit to searchwarp and articlesbase. Searchwarp is a big pleasant surprise, I've gotten virtually all non-EZA clickthroughs from searchwarp

Once again, the backlinks go to my lander which sums up the problem for that keyword, talks about my product, and links to the product page.

Unfortunately my clickthrough to the product is hovering at around 10% - However a lot of hits to the blog have been article editors and myself trying to work the kinks out. I'm trying to see if I can improve that. One of the two landers was doing much better, so I switched the format of the 2nd. Hopefully after the dust clears I'll be at least in the 20% range.

My first article posted to EZA has received 125 hits in the first day! Hope it keeps kicking

DF20 keep up the work and keep updating. DO NOT BE LIKE A LOT of others. have a great idea, have a great start, have great implementation, only to let all of us down when it is all said and done. Remember you are creating your own product here so we are all interested in reading what you are doing for the obvious and some of us just want to understand more of what you are doing to see how we can or might be able to implement your thoughts into our own IM strategy. Teach us well and Good Luck

I think DF20's plan has broken and he gave up. :( It happens often because results don't come easy...

Affiliate marketing is much harder than you think at first sight.

Yip, no such thing as easy money, it takes hard work. If you dont knuckle down you will end up jumping from one "easy money" concept to another.

Yeah but let's have a reality check.

Who can keep turning out endless short quality articles on a subject day after day, long term it's not going to work.

Not sure on the average wage in the US but in the Uk it's about £100 a day (roughly $200), maybe more. Who can consistently churn out quality articles that convert and earn that sort of money?

Forget this bum marketing and have your own site with something your interested in and if your good at writing and know your subject, write quality articles for your site, that's a better long term objective.

i dont know where you work but the average wage certainly aint £100 its more like £40. there are many people on dp who bum market and earn thousands daily, so to say its unrealistic to keep writing short quality articles that will make you around £40 a day is complete nonsense.

Well do a check for the UK average wage: full-time male £521 per week about $850

£40 you must be crazy, maybe 10 years ago. If you want a house, car and maintain a family you need at least £100 a day.

    >>I submit each article to the top 8 article directories

If you do not mind telling me. What are the top 8 article directories?

    Thanks!

I believe that anyone who says he is going to write more than 2 or 3 articles a day is eventually going to burn out. The OP had the idea that he was smarter than everybody else in the world and obviously proved otherwise.

Point #1 - You have to be a good writer to come up with 2-3 somewhat decent articles every day. Good writers earn $$ by writing not by posting on EZN.

Point #2 - If you are not a good writer, why don't you just run a massarticle tool and spam all EZN directories at the same time, to see what sticks.

Point #3 - If you don't want to spam or write good articles, stop promoting CB products. You will be better off if you just get a day job.

Great start, I'll definitely follow through with your progress but if you could make it easy on everyone and give a summary of your impressions/hops/sales and what not it would definitely help us gauge whats going on.

    Thanks!
