Why dont you just check SERP twice? One in the morning, and the other one is at late afternoon. You worry too much on the hourly fluctuation of SE which we all know we cant control.
ya this is getting really annoying..its soo unpredictable..u never know wen wat will happen with the rankings..one monont everythin seems fine with ur site..n in the next it doesn rank for any of ur keywords!
okay i'll admit, i wasnt aware others were also having this problem after my original post.. i'm not seeing it though on any of my sites, but i dont have time to check them ten times a day, but seriously, no changes for me as yet. I certainly hope they're not changing on a daily basis, i've just done all my client reports for the month ! edit: okay i've just checked a handful of terms on a handful of sites. No changes for me other than the normal minor flucations that come about from the work i do on them. Nothing else. The only time i see major jumps is after a major page change, where the jump is temporary while it appears that google places it lower down until it knows its not changing again, where it reinstates it.
not hourly its not. Personally, i'd put an hourly change down to ISP cache problems, or a trojan in the local machine manipulating results.
I don't think anything is stable on the internet, especially new sites, it's a constant changing media. The older the site, the more backlinks = more stability, but the majority of new sites will be up and down the serps until they get some solid structure in place.
serps do change but not on hourly basis...If people have been experiencing the same, it is really crazy! If there were some isolated cases, that would have been understandable but if majority of the people are reporting it, there is certainly something amiss here.. Regards, RightMan
As I stated in other threads, this dance cause a bounced up-down for "some sites" and "some specific keyphrase/keywords". From my observation, most of the dance effected with the big keyword, not a long tail one. The Serps keep bouned up-down all the times and no one knows when this will end. Wahhhh....
Yes they are changing when I am searching like 4 times a day. They are changing "that much fast" that is why I started this thread. Folks if you have nothing to add besides uninformed comments please just read and learn.
Yes the dreaded trojan horse that changes the order of Google results. Why didn't I think of that?!?!?
In most of my sites google has been doing it's "deep crawl" the last few days, so it may well be connected with that if they are also deep crawling most other sites and thus updating their internal PR values as they go ?
