I'm happy not to be the only one noticing that. And then the US is always expected to help and bail out everyone. And right after a war, the same people we were fighting, we are helping them. I'm not sure if it's because of power that America is the leader of the free world, but rather due to an ability to make decisions taking the world interest into consideration rather than being purely self serving.

Which other nation would possibly be able to handle the same kind of repsponsibility that the US has?

Does anyone know if AOL is still sending out those "240 free minute" CD Roms?

I asked Mike. But thanks anyway, although I'm not sure why you posted that article.

Next time you might want to read past the headline before you post the article.

Because if that's the best example you can find, consider yourself PwNt!

Oh, it's not the best example, by far. You were expecting a list of some sort, to say "but that doesn't count."

Maybe next time, you might want to read the whole article. Unless of course, you consider taking back a hospital used to behead people and treat al qaida isn't something good. Probably not, huh?

GTech, just admit it, that isn't the article you thought it was when you posted it.

Seriously, be a man and admit it and I will even retract the PwNaGE. :p

There's nothing to admit, Rob. Unless of course, you are disappointed the hospital can no longer be used by terrorists to behead Iraqi policeman.

But, we see what you focus on...the statement of a lone angry doctor even as he was interviewed about what the hospital needed so they could help with supplies.

    How sad for you, Rob.

Don't blame me for your mistake! I didn't write the article...or post it. I just quoted a few paragraphs from it.

Of course there has been some good news. However, the BAD news clearly far outweighs the good news in Iraq. And overall I think the war has been a 'miserable failure' so far. Which is why you had such trouble finding an article that decently illustrated the point you were attempting to make. And which is also why MikeMaster hasn't responded to my question yet.

You of all people should not accuse someone of having a slanted perspective on things, GTech. Afterall, you think the Iraq war has been a huge success. And that Bush has yet to make any mistakes or bad decisions while in office. And anyone who disagrees with you is a LIBERAL TERRORIST!

I didn't make a mistake to blame you for. But I did see what you quoted and what you didn't.

The advantage of the liberal media is in your favor there. Of course they are not going to print good news.

Your slanted perspective shined through with brilliant colors. I'm glad you are aware of it and pointed it out.

LIBERAL TERRORIST! - Now there's one I haven't seen before! Thanks for the idea, Rob!

LY2 what nonsense,im simply using what i think is right.America should stop trying to exploit people, look at what nike do?
North Korea is not a great country, its a police state but at the same time they have the right to protect themselves from america.
Did you know during the cold war the americans had nuclear missiles pointing at britain,so much for this "Special Relationship".
I just think that britain shouldnt have sided with the country that attacked us,sided with the french (enemy at the time) and celebrates it (Independence Day).
We should have sided with the USSR during the coldwar. If it wasnt for those russians we could have lost the war.
The americans also make out they won that war for us,they wouldnt have helped if it wasnt for pearl harbour (again so much for that "special relationship")
Unfortunatly the americans have to remember the russians helped more than they did (they lost 10 million people because of hitler) and that there aint nothing really wrong with communism (americans dont like it because it dosnt exploit people)

Shucks,...I mean wouldn't have been nice to be like East Germany back in it's commie. Man, it sucks we miss everything. *shakes head*

You wanted to favor the Russians in the cold-war, perhaps kill a few thousand people with Stalin...be my guest. Although supporting Russia durning that time says you care little for individual liberty or life.

Yeah, the best option would have been Europe being the USSR if we hadn't come. No wall or nothing; just a crapload of people living in a hell-hole government.

Okay, buddy. Communism is a fantasy idealogy, and saying Americans don't like it because of the lack of exploitation, is just a mind-creation in your head. We love liberty--plain and simple.

    Rick,
My point is plain and simple...the americans have no right to call other governments corupt and evil when there not much better themselves.
Another point that im also making is that there is no "Special Relationship" between britain and america.
America only helps if they have to and national holidays are based on 300 year old triumphs against the british.

I guess the siding with Russia thing was just a hiccup....

I don't like many of my government's actions, and I can say anything about my government and everyone elses...I don't need your 'right' to do so, nor does it make me a hyprocrite.

    Does it really matter....

Wow Graftstein, your last few posts have been almost completely unintelligible. Do you just type whatever streams out of your clouded mind or what? Yes, America celebrates the day it became a country, just as MOST other countries do the same. And of course there isn't a "special relationship" between us and britain.... We didn't save their asses in WW1 and WW2... We aren't their largest trading partner... We don't allow their citizens basically free access to our country. Or do we?

    Dear Joelviztech
I graduated from university with a degree in history.I think i would know more than you, unlike you i dont base my facts on wikipedia.I get my facts from various books, written by pro americans and anti americans (Both more intelligable than you).
I managed to create an average (observing both sides to get my final view) and mine is the one i have shown.
I still travel all over the world listening to lecturers from both sides.
I am more informed than you.
    Regards
    Kane
