I am not sure what you mean by "booked", but yes, you can use url forwarding
to redirect one name to another.

You should be able to setup the redirection of your new domain from the domain registration control itself. Make sure that your domain registrar provides domain forwarding service along with the domain registration. Name.com, enom.com, godaddy.com, etc provides it for free.

Your query is a bit confusing. Its like asking a dead car to tow another dead car.

Can you please explain what exactly you are trying to achieve.

Is it that you want the other domain to point to the same domain?

If yes, then park it on top of the 1st domain. That's the simplest and best solution.

Yup you can use URL Forwarding and also use the URL Masking option to ensure seamless functioning.. Or create a CNAME record..
