OK, so I've done link building before for niche blogs/sites. I understand that system; you need links relevant to your content to get good rankings. Now I've been spending a lot of time on my personal blog (in sig), and am looking to get more readers. How can I build backlinks, if there is no real ultimate niche/topic for my site...it's about everything! Looking forward to your opinions.

Post comment on other blogs that are related to your blog topic and give reference of your blog in the comment.

You can submit your quality posts to forums, directories, social networks, social bookmarks ... It's a bit hard to promote personal blog, though
