i just started a small local company, rather unique, yet definitely high interest. i don't need a huge amount of advertising, just well placed effective ways for people to hear about my site. any suggestions on where to start? craigslist banned me.
Radio is always good and fairly reasonable in small towns. I also get pens printed with my info and hand them out all over the place. Anybody who takes a credit card will take a handful on pens which in turn get taken by folks. Beer stores are great because folks always walk off with them and they ultimately circulate themselves. hope that helps, Nigel
Sorry, I did not fully read this. I still suggest local radio and pens though. In your case its good to have a site but better to get after it locally since those are the folks you cater to. Hats, t-shirts and other merchandise will help quite a bit as well. Nigel
Take your niche for example, ours is web hosting, and use communitys such as Digitalpoint/Webhostingtalk, ect. to advertise your services. Of course that is just an example, but see if your niche has a community and be sure to advertise at it. Free advertising at its best
