This is the 3rd time I got an email where the customer mentioned that they are still waiting for the book to arrive to their door step.

I guess some people are still not aware of the concept of an ebook or maybe they miss the part where it's clearly mentioned that you get to download it right away.

Has anyone here dealt with a similar situation?

This is really funny, so those customers click buy online, shut down their pc and go wait infront of their house, lol.

Not only this...One lady mailed me back and said- Here is my address...Mail me the book...I don't know how to download...It's a new pc.

After about 3-5 mails to and fro I finally described how a book can be downloaded online and she could read it right away.

Yes, I've had that happen once.

I think no matter how clear you make it (and I try to make it very clear on my site) some people still won't get it.

Like Zibblu said.. It's always going to happen. They probably think downloading is just an option and the book will still be shipped. :p

Never had that yet. But I do get a lot of people who don't know how to download from a download page??

Some guy also claimed he didn't receive the book but his name didn't look familiar. I asked him to email me his order confirmation email and it was for a competitor product, including download link! :D

You guys need a better after-sale page to explain this stuff to them :)

coincidental that only today i was laughing at CB's policy about "telling them it's an ebook and not phys. product". at least if you have somethign in writing, you can point them to it.
