Is google making differences on upper vs lower letters in the URL. Google says when you search a query doesent matter if it is written in UPPER letters the query will be considered lower letters. Mu question is
For search term example "magic pen 2"

Is google giving the same importance to URL's like

    www.something.com/magic-pen-2

    and

    www.something.com/Magic-Pen-2

or the first URL is closer to the search term
    ?

I've never tested, but actually heard from some one that they ranked different for lower case vs. upper case.

By the way, if you are running Linux, upper and lower case URLs are different example.com/Somefile.html and example.com/somefile.html are not the same.

yes that has no impact on search results, thats an issue depending on the host you serve your site on.
