Does this break Googles ToS?

    Hi DP,

In terms of content and what my site does, will Google Adsense accept it? http://www.episodeshare.com

I ask because I am not sure if it is illegal to watch TV episodes online. Yes, I am a noob, but wanted to know if providing links to watch episodes online breaks Googles ToS. Google says not to link to illegal content but watching episodes is that illegal?

    Many thanks for any help.

P.S. I have already asked someone to promote this site for me here but then I realized it might not be allowed.

Well, there goes my idea for ad revenue sharing using adsense out of the window! I would get a lot of people banned :p

Fine, will have to find other shady networks that don't care so much. Anyone know any?!

I use to watch movies on a site called watch-movies.net.

They claim it is not illegal for you to watch them there.

They claim it is not illegal for them to link to the videos

It is illegal for them to host the actual files on their site though.

Just put embed videos from youtube.
It's faster and legal to since your not hosting them.

    Good point linkposter.

When you aren't actually hosting the content (for example, via YouTube) you're not breaking Google's ToS.

If you're hosting content you do not have the right to distribute, you're breaking Google's ToS.

In G! eyes YES! Regardless of where they are hosted via some other site offshore far from non US copyright laws or another site publishing copyright material on your site will get you banned from Adsense.

Your question was answered clear as day. I don't see why it's so hard to see why they block out these sites.
Yep there are many you can try G! first :)

A lot of sites that get 20K visitors daily do this, it's hard to get banned, but hey everything breaks Google's TOS these days >_>

Hey I'm not the man with the hammer here.

When you and everyone else signed up to adsense I'm sure you had to, or should have read the terms as did I.

Basically have some sort of online or life etiquette and you should be free from G's wrath!

EDIT: When in doubt ask the person who's paying you. In this case it would be Google. They would of coarse be far more knowledgeable than anyone you may find on this forum.

My site is an online streaming site also. But I do embed my videos from legal sites, such as Youtube, CNN, ABC, NBC, etc. Is this against TOS?
