How to place nofollow attribute within a link in a wordpress post

Hi guys, im wondering if im placing the nofollow attribute correctly within an affiliate link that im placing in a post on a wordpress blog, if ive got it in the wrong order can you advise me how to correct it please.

Im doing the following, is this correct?

<a href="http://www.thisistheaffiliateurl" rel="nofollow" target="_self">Buy Product </a>

Have i placed nofollow in the correct position in that Url?

That's OK. By the way, you don't need to follow an order

That plugin is not good enough, I have installed it and for some reason it does not add the nofollow tag. Also, I need nofollow on all the post, not on posts older then one day.
