I have been told that while driving, save life and waste time.I think it's a great line to remember. Please remember it while driving.
I will try To But Time Is The Only Thing I dont Like To waste , For Me a sec Even means Alot, Nothing Like I m Going to Die In Somedays Or So, Thats Just Me
since 2 years I am Driving Too Fast,. then I learn about rule from laws., I Am Now driving at only less that Speed Limit. I spend extra time in car studying Grammar.
While driving, I always ensure that apart from people, even animals are not hurt and I am very proactive about it. When people meet with accident, people nearby call for ambulance or police. But when animals meet with accident, they are left their to die. No one cares what happens to them. Their body lies in the road for other vehicles to crush them. Just a incident I remember. Long back, I often used to spend most of my time at my friends auto garage and a accident car was just bought there. The front portion i.e. the grill, bumper, radiator, ac condenser was completely damaged. The car's under bonut was completely splashed with dogs blood. The story was that these people were speeding in their car when the driver spotted a dog in the road. Instead of slowing down, he further throttled the car to the peak so that he could crush the dog at full speed and nothing would happen to them. Fools, they narrowly escaped with a major accident. And they have to spent hand some money to get their car repaired. So friends, also pledge that you never crush any animal especially when its in your hand to prevent it. Just my thoughts.
Saving time is very important but people save time for life. What will one do of time if one loses life?
Same Problem With Me, If Even I Die I Wanna Kill Atleast 10 Slow Drivers Waste Of Time And Petrol And They After That Irritate Us, Ya U r Right But I just Got One Life I wanna See Everything And Feel Everything, It Even Implies Driving At 300Km/ph Or Near By, And Resting In Hospital Bed For 6 Months After Hitting A Slow Driver Or Someguy Who Broke A Rule And All Blame Comes On me, Just depends What You Wish To Choose, Thats Y I dont Have A Honda CBR 1100XX Super Blackbird or Yamaha YZF R1 So That I Break The Limits
Agreed. Each and everyone behind the wheels has to possess this virtue. I want to save life, whether it is human, animal or bird but don't want to waste my time, which is precious
Gimme a break guys. Driving slow had nothing to do with your chances of crashing. Slow drivers are also equally prone to bein termed as "rash" drivers. DRIVE SAFE, NOT neccessarily slow!
Are you sure, that was dog’s blood? Why didn’t you suspect, that could splashed with human blood! You were not present on the spot when the accident happened, right?
I think if most people don't get the message with all those graphic TV ads, showing car accidents, I don't think, people will remember the line. Don't get me wrong, I like the line, it is really common sense to drive safe but I guess most people feel invincible after a couple of pints!!
Its quite obvious. If the car hit a dog, it would be dog's blood. How come human blood splash under the bonut then? BTW, I was not present at the spot when the accident happened. And if I do consider that it was a human blood, the car would have been at the police station and not the garage. You know very well in India. If you hit some one, people often burn the vehicle. The only way is to either see your car burn or go to the nearest police station and surrender. And in one such incident, when I was coming from Pune along with my wife and kid, there was a huge traffic jam. We started to follow other vehicles on muddy roads and reached a spot where a company bus was set ablaze. On asking, we came to know that a small kid suddenly came in front of the bus and the bus hit the kid. The kid died on the spot and angry villagers set ablaze the bus on fire. A simple logic is that what can a driver do if someone suddenly comes in front of the bus. No doubt the driver will try to apply brakes but that would not be of any help. In fact this would also risk the lives of the people inside the vehicle. A few days back, a Volvo bus was set ablaze on fire when it hit a villager in some place in Punjab. And that to on the national highway. Passengers inside the bus almost watched their baggage and stuff burning into ashes. One guy had to loose his laptop which contained presentations. These are few examples of what happens in India. Foolish people, they don't even realise that by doing so, the dead is not going to become alive.
Last week i had a brush with death. An ignorant, reckless and in my mind selfish evil individual nearly ran me over. In Britain we have what we call pelican crossings where you press the button and after a short amount of time it changes the traffic lights to red and then flashes a green man to indicate that its safe to cross. Thankfully I was not in a hurry and crossed the road at a normal pace, when suddenly a car over took the cars stopped at the traffic lights and sped across the crossing missing me by a couple of inches. If I had been one steep forward they would of hit me and I would of been dead or very seriously injured they were going that fast. It has been noted during many experiments that the drivers that are in a hurry and speeding don't necessarily get to their destination any quicker. Speeding is selfish and dangerous and if you don't care about other road users, stop and think what all those stress hormones are doing to your body. Slow down mentally and physically or your heading for a heart attack or a car crash. A saying my parents taught me when I started driving " better late, than dead on time"
