I am running a forum at http://www.belmos.com it has wide variety of topics so it is sucking. I have planned to close this forum and start a new one with a specific niche.

Can anyone please suggest me a high paying and high traffic generating niche to start with.

    Music is a good option
    Gaming is another one
Roleplaying games also attract a crowd

indeed these are very popular, but payment sucks. Generally, you won't get decent money from forums! ;)

Sure if you can promote it well. Ecnomic not good and people are trying to improve their finance status. Dont talk about those world finance, focus on personal finance only such as how to save money, where to invest is more safe, better invest on property or save in bank etc

You should find a niche that you are knowledgeable that does not have a lot of competition. Sometimes obscure niches can perform quite well. Do some research. Most broad niches like Finance and Medical are saturated and make it difficult to compete. If you create a forum for a specific disease or condition that does not have a lot of competition, it is far more likely to perform well.

Just start something you love and enjoy, i know your most likely heard that many of times but its true, i can't tell you how many times i've dropped a website because i didn't like what it was about, i done it because the keywords and search volue 'looked' good, but as i didn't like the subject of the site i put veyr little effort into it, eventually dropping it.

I'd only suggest finance if you really know what you're talking about.

I'm starting up a PC community:
pctechcrew.com - that's the domain name, in the process of setting it up now, then I can use it to advertise other business while establishing a solid global community.
