Hi all, Well just found out I have another one on the way and doing the math my income just is not going to cover it and my fiance cant work because there is no one to look after our son. So in the face of financial ruin, I ask someones help. Now the sob story is out of the way, I would love it if one of the adsense gurus who earn big dollars would consider taking me on as a project to help me build my income and afford to keep my family fed. I guess kind of like paying it forward. I have read all I can and implemented most things without much better result. So I guess this is what I am asking. - Take me on board tell me where I could increase CTR etc - Give me any tips - In turn I will filter some money to you I guess but most of all I will pay it forward by helping someone else in turn, I guess its about karma. So anyone want to help? Cheers Daniel
What is your background? Are you a webmaster fulltime? What do you currently do for a living? Can you ask for a raise?
There is always a way to do more, but don't expect an easy street by just doing adsense. Come up with something new or different, but don't let the kids scare you too much - we have six (and NO more on the way) we don't live richly, but have our needs met for sure.
background. - I am a techincal support analyst for a web applications company in Sydney Australia I make a decent living but I have a dependant Fiance and a step-son who I also pay for since his father is not worth the space he takes up. I have a pay review next week but have only been here for 6 months so likely wont get anything. essentially after all our expenses we have $AUD100 whcih it pretty much costs more than half just to go to the movies, a week to live off for all 3 of us. So life is pretty scary now that we have another on the wayI am going to have to figure something out
there are many out there already... the money will come in boatloads when you make something new.. ie; like Digg.com or Delicious.com, etc..
There are many but what makes your directory earning is its PR, look and traffic which is not difficult. One only needs to have a unique and well maintained directory.
0. Not to blame you are anything but it always surprises me when people have unexpected kids on the way... 1. All of us are your mentor. Post your site up for review and collectively we'll work on it. Ask focussed questions on specific parts of your site, strategy etc. 2. Read Dale Carnegie's 'How to win friends and influence people' - find out about whoever reviews you beforehand and then 'listen' yourself into a good payrise. Don't ask, don't get. You won't get sacked for asking too much. 3. If your own sites aren't growing fast enough (what you make out of it per hour is below your salary) then consider Get A Freelancer and get paid by the hour. That should keep your head above the surface.
Thats life living in Sydney... I've come to the conclusion that Sydney is useless and unless you want to be miserable for the rest of your life, get out while you can and live a real life. My sights are on Adelaide and I can't get there a moment too soon.
