Thats what I mentioned in my earlier post....you can not decide the importance of SEO on the basis what you do only... Do you know anything about website usability?? have you ever worked on any e-commerce portal?? This time you are making fools around claiming that SEO is quite easy to learn. There is difference between learning and implementation. If you are well versed about SEO techniques and methodology, you never make comments like this..
Yeah I agree with Manish, here lotta guys thinks that SEO is just submission, using few tags, link x-changing, just! ad that's it. Just Over the work. Reality is quite different, they are getting accordingly @just $ 500/1000 per project (I am shocked to see that few guys opened the submission shop in DP lower @ 5 USD) for SEO of a website or lesser. Fewer will be failed to make primary work sheet of SEO.
SEO is really hard to understand... but if you free yourself from this hesitant, and unchained yourself from the thought of putting yourself on first page. I think it will be much easy. Just like what ive said... Do your job and let Google finds you.
I do agree, SEO is not that tough. However it is also not too easy to learn..one can learn it only after implementing the concepts...
Its not spam If seo is spam then what is ethical ? Sitemap: if submitting of sitemap of spam that how google would not about each and every link that our website have ? Duplicate: why google penalize our website in case of duplicate content ? Content: why content is king ? SEO is nothing but keeping a website alive in the eyes of visitors by improving it on regular basis.
I find it interesting that it seems to be people only from some areas of the globe who now seem to go mad about how great SEO is, and the wonderful results they are having. Bottom line is that as in any market, if you are in a growing area of that market its easier to get better results, if you are in a fully-developed and saturated market then its tougher. Example, I spoke to a guy who was claiming wonderful traffic from SEO results and had his own SEO company. On questioning him, it turned out he lived in a country with 26% internet coverage. That coverage was growing rapidly, and all his results had been for domestic websites! The net is not global when it comes to SEO.
By simple site validation, it makes it quite easy for other search engines to find and that's not excluding the top guns such as google, yahoo, lycos, msn you name the rest. i had my website validated when my alexa ramking was 16m at the time few days later i changed to 900K. is that not a big leap. try it. let me know the results
Google can label SEO as spammers all day long and will. Seo's are spammer's like Google are copyright infringers. Google sends out spiders to index your content without your consent. As far as I am concern (until Google turns into a non profit organization to feed the hungry of the world) there are no techniques that a SEO cant use, (including blackhat). Just brainwashing jargon from Google and your competitors to keep you out of the SEO biz. Remember one thing...IT'S ALL ABOUT MONEY!
Wrong. Provided a page outputs html (when talking about ranking pages, not pdfs, docs etc) it makes no difference whether it conforms to W3C validation or not. Why exactly do you care about the Alexa ranking- this doesn't have any impact on conversions.
Interesting. Some company that you have no contractual relationship with, comes and steals your IP on a regular basis and republishes it in a way that would normally attract lawsuits. They then have the cheek to tell you that the stuff they stole isn't to their liking - you're "doing it wrong" somehow. That's Google, in a nutshell. They'd prefer it if we'd all 'stick to the rules' and 'do it right'. But while there is even ONE person who isn't prepared to 'play fair', everyone else is at a disadvantage. And that means you all have every right to try and boost your rankings in Google's list of stolen text. It's GOOGLE'S job to make sure that their system does the 'leveling', and I for one look forward to the day when they finally get it right.
They steal our content (for our benefit) then accuse us of making life miserable for all the surfers trying to use their engine. It's all about Google making money off of adwords -plain and simple. SEO's are pulling traffic from their engine (they call it hijacking -I call it the American Way) instead of users clicking on adwords so that they can profit. Of course they do not like SEO's. We are their competitors. They simply want their cake and eat it to. Offering free content search to attract surfers so that they can sell ad space to advertisers. Exactly what SEO's do
