Organic SEO is optimization of a site to get more exposure in the search engine results (free listings).
Organic SEO is nothing but the natural way of optimizing the site to come over the SERP (search result engine page) i.e without using paid techniques.
Well we would like you to explain your views on white hat seo and then we will discuss about Organic SEO.
The correct answer! My site is a perfect example of ORGANIC SEO: I have never used PPC, Ad Words, Overture, or any other paid links. My site comes up in the top three results (non-sponsored) in Google, for all of my KW phrases.
You can get organic or referral search engine traffic these days. Take a look at Google Analytics. Organic Google traffic is the absolutely free traffic which comes from Google's search results. Referral Google traffic is the traffic that comes from Adwords which is essentially advertisements on Googles search results. You will have to pay at least a small amount for these targetted visitors.
Rather than being snippy about someone asking a question for genuine enlightenment, one should contribute to the thread by replying with something constructive. Organic SEO means "natural", not paid for traffic and/or site visitors. Google prefers organic links because such links don't manipulate the SERPs. Paid links can and do manipulate the SERPs. An example of an organic link would be Joe Blogger writing about his favorite sport, motor cross biking, and links to the manufacturer of his favorite bike. Or Sally Homemaker links to a Parenting site from her blog about being a mother. Google considers such links spontaneous and natural - in other words, Organic
Organic SEO is a misnomer for plain old SEO... just like "Natural SEO" would be a misnomer. SEO is optimizing web pages for search engines so that the pages URLs rank high in the "organic" or "natural" search results (as opposed to the "paid" results). It's similar to people talking about the <title> tag... 99% of the time they are using the word "tag" incorrectly. Most of the time they should be using the phrase "<title> element" as <title> is an element. It's only a "tag" when you're talking about it in the context of the "opening tag" (<title>) or "closing tag" (</title>) for the <title> element.
