Huge increase on keywords pricing?

I noticed the last few days my Adsense account has been getting ridiculous money for 1 and 2 clicks.. Like $3-$4 a click. I just logged into my adwords account and all my keywords that were around 0.55 a click are now inactive and require a $5 bid! Has google been doing some crazy keyword increasing?

Yea Adwords screwed me the same way. I was paying .05 and now I am paying at least 20-30. I have been trying for the last month to get CTR and keyword density up but I am still paying basically high.

Anyone have any real experiences or better info on help?

To get a good CTR you need to be high on the google search page.
To get high on the search page without a good CTR you need to pay much.

I normaly start a campaign paying very much for the first 1000 impressions. This normaly gives me a good CTR, and makes me able to lower my bididng and keeping the position.

Its impossible to get a good CTR if you are add number 30.

Depending on how long you have been using AdSense/AdWord, another reason you may be noticing a higher PPC is seasonal Internet traffic fluctuations. Because there are fewer people using the Internet in the summer (schools are out, vacations etc.), there are fewer impressions and fewer clicks being delivered. This reduced supply of clicks and impressions always drive up the PPC costs during the summer months. I've seen this same trend every summer for the past 2.5+ years I have been using AdSense. Come this fall, the PPC and eCPM for AdSense will decline back to wintertime levels once the northern hemisphere is done with their vacations and kids are back in school.

Relatively how long do I wait for the quality score to go back to normal?

Is it calculated time wise, like weeks or a month, or is it calculated by imressions and click, every 100 impressions/clicks?

There is not inflation or discount of keywords prices along the year.

Oops, $3-4 per click. DO not be insane. You must have left it to google to decide the maximum CPC. And you see this happen when you do that. Comptetion drive CPC up and Google make the money, NOT YOU.

I never leave this to anyone to drive me bankrupt. You see Adwords can do that to you. If you are not careful.

When I see $1-2 earning per click from my adsense sites, I laugh and worry on advertise. She must be some simple housewife or so, who do know the Internet advertising and throw his hard earned money in my pocket.

Google made $2.8 Billion from adsense only. and rest $3-4 billion from adwords. I do not think every advertiser has good ROI. I am not saying Adwords is bad. I am myself is an advertiser but I will only suggest do not throw money and then cry like baby and say Internet advertising is of no good.

It will hurt the whole Industry. And certainly you and me too.

Never mind harsh words. Thats not directed to anyone persoanlly.

I pay $2+ for some of my keywords, and still makes good money. I would gladly pay $50 for a keyword as long as I get a nice ROI.
