are there any other affiliate program type sites like clickbank? why do most publishers choose then over others(if there are any) whats stopping someone from competing with clickbank? again i am a noob so please excuse me but can someone answer some of my questions?
CB is popular with affiliates cause you'll automatically be approved and you can promote a variety of products. Other networks might reject your application.
1. The huge size (which is good both for affiliates looking for variety in products to promote and for publishers who want a lot of affiliates to promote their products) 2. The high payout rates. Most products pay out 75%. Almost all of them pay out at least 50%. 3. How easy it is to use. 4. Reliability. Yes there's a lot of concern about all of the conversions being tracked for affiliates. But at least you know that you're going to get the money you earned (the same can't be said for affiliates using paydotcom.com) And speaking of them... 5. No good competition. All of the competitors in this niche (download product affiliate networks) have been pretty weak with some major faults in my experience.

Amen, brother. At least there is some amount of "oversight" with CB. (though sometimes this oversight works against you). My complaint with PayDotCom is that there is "no one behind the wheel."
I once earned $1000 with PDC and never got it. Haven't used them since. There is no guarantee you'll be paid as an affiliate with PDC. The publisher can just not pay you. And the worst thing is the people at PDC won't do a damn thing about it.
