i am new to publishing but i did this product because i blog about business credit after i started the write the ebook then i realize there is all this affiliate marketing stuff i am still working on tweaking my landing page www.businesscreditbible.net but i am selling the book pretty well from my blog www.mybusinesscreditblog.com i have put the book out for 3 days and sole 31 copies so far you can see what people are saying about it at www.businesscreditbiblereview.com now...i know this is a loaded and broad question but how much do publishers make? i know i have a solid product and i am working on improving it on a continuous basis but is there anyway to know what to expect?
Based on the best data......Publishers make between $0.00 - $21,000,000 So you shoot for somewhere in between.
What kind of answer do you want? If I told you how much I make, how will that help you? We have different products, different marketing, different everything. The range domainiac gives is an accurate one.
You'll learn sooner than later that no pub is going to answer questions like this, just like no aff. can give you a 'what to expect'. Seriously, it's like asking 'how much does a store owner make', because I own a hair salon and did 40 haircuts my first week... Your 31 sales in 3 days is a good sign, for sure. However you'll never be able to get an answer for this from anyone but yourself. Put it out there, make affiliate tools, the more affiliates you get the more you make. Create a backend upsell so your buyers are taken down a longer customer journey. Collect their data and re-pitch them with relative stuff, create your own competitors/competing sites before many others do now that you've let your cat out of the bag (yep, I predict two more credit ebooks popping out within 2 weeks, watch). The $0-$21M is literally as accurate as you can guess, perhaps not though, because you can also be way in the red if you invest in a non-converting big site/project so let's make that -$xx,xxx to +$x___________ (insert fav. amount of zeros here). Cheers, N.
thanks a lot NC Media i have a couple ideas that i am putting together thats helping with sales got 2 more sales since i posted this ad. thanx for the response
#1 Your links aren't loading up. (Address Not Found Firefox can't find the server at www.businesscreditbible.net) #2 Do you really expect us to believe that the folks at yourbrandnameREVIEW.com are actually giving real reviews? In fact, it seems that since you are just starting up an affiliate program that it's likely that it's your site. Save that stuff for the customers. We're not your customers. Come legit, yo. #3 Others have already addressed your question about publisher income. The best answer really is 0 to 21 million. Although I suppose there's no reason someone couldn't beat 4Idiots out... not in a niche like this though It'd have to be a really big market. 0 as the low end because there's no guarantee you make any sales or any affiliates promote your product. A lot of new publishers make the mistake of thinking all you do is sign up and sales start pouring in. Clickbank is simply a system. It doesn't create money for you on it's own. You have to get the ball rolling.
ok my server is down but it should be back up soon i created the site for reviews if u go to my blog you will see that i get reviews all the time... i created to so that i will be legit but the fact that you dont belive that makes me think that i should do away with the site.. we will see how it goes
Keep the review site. Lots of people search for "[product name] review" before buying. If you'd got Google's Webmaster Tools (Google it) setup on your site, you can see what searches your product ranks for. One of mine was showing a decent level of "review" type traffic, so it's definitely worth hitting those keywords. About the potential earnings - I'd agree with everyone else. It varies so much, and depends on so many different factors that it's very hard to give a figure which means anything. Suffice to say that you can earn as much as you want.
