    Getting your website in Yahoo! Directory for free, I read this all over the net but has any one here done it or know of any one that has done it

    It's no longer possible. It used to be, about 4-5 years ago if you submitted to the Canadian, UK or Australian directory, but those are now pay-only.

    Medium or large businesses...it's not feasible for small businesses or sole proprietors.

    Some years ago, in some local directories from certain countries, was free to register your site. But that was in the past.

    Did anyone here actually try looking into the Yahoo Directory before giving all those incorrect "no" answers? Check this link — http://add.yahoo.com/fast/add?259585

    Yahoo does have a free submission option. However, it is very difficult to get in via the free option. I've been trying unsuccessfully for four years. :(

    it is possible if your site is non commercial and only for helping people gain information.

    if you have such a site then you are upto get a link from yahoo.

    it is not a magic pill to give you an instant relief.

    you need to wait ages to get listed there for free :D
