Lavrov the Russian f.min.calls for the Middle East to be made a nuclear weapons-free

    ".............Lavrov repeated a Russian call for the Middle East to be made a nuclear weapons-free zone.

    "The task to strengthen the nuclear non-proliferation regime in the Middle East remains urgent. We consistently advocate this region to become a nuclear-weapon-free zone, and eventually, a zone free from all other types of weapons of mass destruction," he told the arms conference. Israel is believed to have the Middle East's only nuclear arsenal, though it has never acknowledged such a program or ever testing atomic weapons.

    And if Israel gives up their nukes, surely Iran will give up their ambitions to develop ones...

    BTW, the whole world is a witness what happened to America's economy and her world standing, plus all Americans now realize how smart Bush was (the man that you always supported together with Gtech, bogart and many others in US).     great thinking :) then why you are opposing other countries who carry away with nuclear research like iran , even its not near to USA?

    Honestly, Just tell me what good does Israel to the world??? Is it a peace loving country? Does it respect the human rights of others, ... the non jewish people?
    Since its establishment it demonstrates nothing, but sheer selfishness. No matter they do, for as long as they say it is OK, everyone should accept it as the absolute right thing to be done.

    It is simple logic. No nation will give up their nukes once they have them. Israel, Russia, USA, France, etc. Once Iran gets nuclear weapons they are never going to give them up.

    I do not trust Iran based both on their behavior and the comments from their leaders. I do not trust the sick Mullahs in charge in Iran. I don't trust Russia either and obviously they will not give up their nuclear weapons. Without their nukes Russia is like a fat, lazy bear with no claws.
