Congress wins this easily... Atleat they have an intelligent, well educated and noble leader like Manmohan Singh. LKAdvani looks crook by his face only :D
And in terms of development i've seen quiet a lot of development in N Delhi.
All i want now is that they scrap the illegal shops that have sprung across city.
And one can see economy is not that bad than it was around 6-7 years before when
BJP ruled . I feel BJP is more corrupt, but India needs to develop strong economic reforms
like China, to attract foreign investments and of course Congress is not playing their part well

I want either the BJP or the Congress to win with a clear majority..so they dont have to rely on the support of smaller parties. Regional parties just demand too many things in reutrn for their support and national interest is compromised

    You're 100% right mate
I think both of parties may have to look at clarity of image in local citizens of their candidates.and candidates must be hard working and their work should be transparent to citizens.

In fact, youth are more interested in voting (jaagore.com) and its the people who are not conversant with current affairs who are carried away into voting on the basis of caste and religion!
BJP- has chances if Advani contest well, and if he is able to keep himself in sense by the time elections arrive (he is OLD!!!)
Congress- has screwed big time with the inflationary situation, but its getting better at the right time- just what they needed. Terrorist attacks and oil price rise were another dampener, but oil prices have been reduced and our country is a country of people having short lived memories and people who are fickle minded- so I fancy congress would win.
As far an my vote is concerned, it us still undecided- 60-40 I say in the favor of the BJP just because of the reason that Congress sucks with administartion

I think Congress is the lesser of the two evils. BJP has a sound economic policy. But they will talibanise India, if they get elected. They have been causing enough trouble in india even otherwise in Orissa, Mangalore, Gujarat etc. Congress is appeasing terrorists for votes. So are the communists.

The last time BJP came to power, they had lot of "Hindu issues" on agenda.

There never was any attempt in those 5 years to "talibanize" India.

Now, BJP is hardly raising any such issues.

I don't see why anyone should fear any "talibanization" of India if BJP came to power.

Gujarat, Mangalore, Orissa and Mumbai (V day violence, violence by the Thakreys) are just some of the pointers that people fear the talibanization of India if BJP comes to power! But yeah, I am optimistic, and even if they do come to power, I hope they make efforts to put the economy back on track!

bjp can't make any talibanism, especially coz, hindus are divided by 'cast' so many extreme hindu agendas will oppose by hindu community itself . most of the people who post here againist bjp is also hindus.
congress can be a better party if they try to be independent of Nehru family. there are many better leaders, but they won't came to power. who is our prime minister ? - a 'rajya sabha' MP , so not elected , got campus recruitment from nehru family. who is our defence minister ? A K antony, another rajya sabha MP, still a campus recruitment from nehru family, not an elected person. then who was shivraj patel? a person who lost his lok sabha election , got a placement as most powerful minister - home ministry? then why we are conducting elections? its better to make direct recruitment from Nehru family who have more gratitude towards nehru family than country.

Don't argue with these people man. Our television medium has done a brilliant job of brainwashing most of these middle class, English-speaking Indians. Major blunders like high fiscal deficit, corruption, inflation, terrorism, and shameless minority appeasement have not been highlighted at all. On the other hand, any incident that puts the BJP/Hindus in bad light has been blown out of proportions.

I am a self proclaimed atheist and nobody can criticize religion (including Hinduism) more than me. But I feel sorry for the Hindus in India. If things continue this way for another decade or two, we might see another partition. Unfortunately, most of the douchebags in this country are too dumb to understand that.

Mangalore pub attacks, attacks against people who celebrating valentines day, attacks against lovers hanging out in public, attacks against inter religious lovers, attacks against christians in Orissa etc are all examples of Indian Talibanisation already going on at the behest of BJP and sangh parivaar. I am not giving clean chit to muslim organizations either. A lot of them are creating terrorists through their madrassas and the congress and communists are appeasing them for their votes.

    Can anybody tell me.
What can be happened when nobody want to vote.
I think we should vote for our responsibility towards nation. Its a "Thank you" to nation where I live freely and till my last breath. Its a "Thank you" to "Bharat Maa".
Whoever wins but should win with complete majority. We should vote to make complete majority win for a party.
Otherwise "Our" nation will not be stable.
In other countries unlike in India, presidents are free to take decision because they have won by majority votes from opponents.
    What's your opinion?

    That is nonsense....

If people say that you have no right to vote( which is/was the case in many countries for a sector of people) , it is an issue.Human right violation and rightly it is.

But , then when people ask us to vote, we dont.

    Jaago re!
    Wake up!

WEll, the middle class is, and has been, one of the most powerful sections of Indian society since the era of Chandragupt Maurya. Its people who are sitting above the middle class (the so called posh class) and trying to curb their instincts, who have suffered at the hands of the middle class (Aurangzeb and the British Raj being the finest examples). Dont you think it would be better for BJP and other Hindutva groups to clarify the differences (IF ANY) in the minds of the middle class?
