I'm curious why Apple (the mac maker) is called Apple

Yea i'm bored right now at work, well i have work but taking a break. Then I was reading forums and some guy had an actual apple with the apple logo and i thought to myself, why did the founders named it Apple, not Orange or Lemon.

Anyone know? I couldn't find anything on WIKI either

steave jobs asked him team members to find a good name for his company but they were unable to do so, ultimately he name it after apple the fruit he loves the most.

    no serious mysteries behind it

The Nokia name came from the river which flowed through the town in Finland called ~ Nokianvirta river

Sony name came from "sonus", the Latin word for sound.

Vaio - Video Audio Integrated Operation
