Hello, Let's say there is a site A.com, and 7 days ago it was a strong PR5 (the backlinks it has justifies the PR5). 3 days ago, all of a sudden, the PR dropped to PR3. All the backlinks are still there, but the PR dropped. I have sold some links recently, so that might be the reason. I doubt that they discovered it by themselves -- I think someone reported my site or something. Now, can you tell me what's the solution to get the PR back? Is there a form I can submit on Google for them to reconsider and look into it? Thanks, dmi
I'd advise seeing this thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1257996 I think something happened and no one has caught on yet because it only effects those who've gained 50% of their PR or better from link lists.
What the heck are you talking about? "The pr should be back soon......." How do you know this? Do you know something I don't perhaps?
i think if there is any problem that google got in your sitel you can get that problem through google webmaster tool; just analysis your site through there also.
Just build another high pr backlinks again , if you sold links, just buy them from pr5-6 websites to link to your website.
Thanks everyone for your answers. I really suspect that someone reported my site because of selling links. So I was wondering what's the solution to this? Should I wait a little bit and then submit that "form" or?
Such sudden drop is not normal but then, it is neither rare...these days. People here have often reported such drops getting reversed equally well in couple of days. So, no harm in waiting a bit more before trying to take some remedial action towards it. Regards, RightMan
Yes, I read it. However, I see no connection between my site and those things mentioned in that thread. My PR comes from highly reputed websites, not directories/link lists.
Maybe you should just wait or even better forget about PR and focus more on the SERP's, you can make more selling affiliate products if you have the right traffic than selling text links.. that's my opinion
Hello... Here maybe those bells will stop ringing ... http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=10831470&postcount=22 It was a dropped domain less then a month old ... laterz M1
