AdBrite and click fraud - screen shots included!!

I started this post here because I found a similar one in Google search results. I don't think its AdBrite thats doing it and they can clearly claim they have no idea whats going on. I really think I should count my losses and move on. I know how to get sales and users now.

Whether it is AdBrite or someone else we shall see by what they do about it. If my total gets to $1,000 it should be considered grand theft? If AdBrite is the one who is at fault here then there should be some kind of compensation made. The traffic they generate for me is great but niche websites can do ten times better. AdBrite gave my website a huge user response, but no sales?

I really would like some sales, all this money I'm giving out of my pockets for visitors and users is great but I just don't think that AdBrite can get you sales. Before AdBrite I used MSN, they got me sales but not users. It's like I'm paying for email addresses (Leads), but I know where to get them for free. I tried to pull up last years stats from AdBrite to get a total but it seems they have purged that info. If they purged the info how will I be able to compare my clicks. My Google Analytics show an extremely high bounce rate that is worse then what some of the top referral and traffic exchange sites give you.

These screen shots that I have show some really interesting click fraud:

    1. Date - March 4, 2009
    2. Clicks - 50 clicks
    3. Impressions - 38 visits
    4. Bollycircle - one of the click fraudsters
    5. BTJunkie - Tons of impressions but a bad CTR and bounce rate

Some people say, its your landing page, or its what your trying to sale. For one thing, I have had nothing but rave reviews for my landing page or overall site design. To be honest, I have had better results with traffic exchanges getting me sales compared to AdBrite, but the user base that AdBrite generates is great. You just cant beat organic results or a great website, plain and simple. I'm gonna be buying more organic clicks in the future, but I am still going to use AdBrite for the user base it generates.

    Whats your take?

If it's click fraud then contact Adbright directly and ask them to investigate it.

AdBrite is my favorite ad company that excepts warez, they pay ok, but my clickthrough rate is abnormally low.

Ya I like AdBrite and will continue to use them. I am more selective now though, about who gets to display my ad links. This post is not meant to hurt AdBrite, but include others in my overall experience so far with them.

I got killed on a campaign I did on BLA. I've been afraid to use AdBrite ever since.

True BLA, which the adult section for Adbrite really sucks; hence Adbrite is same. I stopped using BLA because the disable my account and ask for me passport, drivers'license and utility bill before they could restore the account. They claim my site had illegal clicks. I sent all the stats from the server to them but no. So, i believe they just want to squeeze you dry.
