I'm using a PC as its what i'm used to though I would like to also have a Mac but seems a bit extravagant to have both
I think you will find the majority of people use PC for one of two reasons 1# They can't afford a MAC or 2# They got a PC first and don't want to make "the change"... or both? The fact of the matter is, MAC's are much better for media (graphic, music and video production) and a lot more secure. Microsoft made the first PC with a GUI, and because of that people bought them and stuck by them but times are changing and MAC's have been competing more effectively for the last few years and it's only a matter of time before they take the lead. It would be interesting to see everyone's view on this in 10 or 15 years! Anyway, I'm a PC for the reasons above, I look forward to the MAC era though
My PC cost me more than a mac and I have used mac's before but PC's are better for what I want them to do.
I have always used a PC. I don't see a need to try anything else. If all goes right, however, I will have a Linux laptop.
I'm a PC guy. I dunno...I just can't seem to justify spending more money on a computer with less features. You can buy a $700 PC with 4GB RAM and 320GB hard drive, but the cheapest Mac's are about $1000 and have a lot less than that. I'm not a big fan of the desktop layout and everything either. I'm just used to the PC look. But I've only heard rave reviews of macs so I guess I'd grow accustomed to it after a while.
PC... Apple really tried to take the new approach with the macs in the tech world that just didn't work
That doesn't mean I'm wrong. I made a statement about the "majority" of computer users. You are obviously part of a minority group, just read other peoples posts in here for proof
