What Is Your Favorite Web Design Book?

    Here is my top 3 favorite Web Design books. These books has taught me a lot of good stuff i could not sometimes find on the web.

    I used to look for books of web design but give up later .
    All the book on the bookshop(largest book chainstore in major city) teach you how to use firework, flash, dreamweaer and tools of the softwares .
    None book actually teach you how to design a website from scratch .
    If google were a "Web Design Book", I will choose google. lol

    I sometimes suggest books for clients to read so they have an idea what we have to go through to make their website. I might say "read HTML in 24 Hours, see how long it take you to make a page then you'll have an idea why it takes as long as it does to make a whole website." This is especially useful for those clueless types who think you can just upload a Word file, as is, with a picture to make a webpage.

    On this point i cant really agree with you. These days you can find a lot of good books on semantic and valid xHTML and advanced CSS tips. None of that Dreamweaver/software stuff.

    I know what you are saying but the computer gives square eyes if you sit in front of it to much ;)
