    It is not points, it is posts which you can see in your any posts (rightside just below location) as well as under your user profile.

    Re-read the rules. You do not meet the requirements to post in the BST area. It has nothing to do with "10 points." The only kind of "points" would be rep, and in that case all that matters is that the little rep blob under your post count stays green.
