All dp member can provide RSS link of their blog in "Edit options" in control panel, as a result of this most recent blog entry will show under your username in your posts. This is good for traffic but what about SEO point of view. As this is do follow link. Suppose search engine bot finds lot of back link for you article and you SERP improves. when you write new article all back links shift to new written article.

That is why Google like links to age before they give them the full weight, as temporary links are all over the place and the engineers probably already know about this and have devalued them anyway

Its good to have there to let people know about your blog and latest story, but as far as SERPs go then I doubt it will have an impact

I think the site will gain popularity, also there would be SEO advantage if the links do follow.

But when all back links will be shifted to newly written articles, all back links to previous article will be lost and will hurt SEO efforts for previous article.

There's no reason not to. I doubt there's any penalties of sites removing a link to yours, too easy to exploit against competitors.

If your blog is related to internet marketing, the extra clicks'd be worth it alone :)
