LOD, you pretty much need OS X. I mean, you could write it in notepad and have someone build it for you, but then you couldn't test, etc. It's not worth it. If you're developing for the appstore, that's already a $99 commitment, and OS X is only $149.

No problem. I'd also like to point out that you wouldn't have xcode, so you'dHaveToTypeOutAllOfThoseMassiveFunctionsThatObjCCodersSeemToLikeYourself.

Yeah, have you looked at ano Obj-C code? I'd imaging coding Obj-C without xcode to be like... like... I can't even think of a serious enough analogy.

LOD, it's a different operating system - you can't. You could buy a cheap, used Mac off of ebay. There are ways to install illegal copies of OS X on non-apple hardware, but they only half work; hardware compatability is awful. Developing for the iPhone is an investment anyways.

If you find a method, let me know. I did some iPhone programming, but I HAD to use an Intel Mac. I found a few articles that claim to be able to run OS X in a Windows-based Virtual Machine. I have not tried it, because I do not have a copy of OS X Leopard.

It is not possible to write iphone applications on windows. since Apple does not provide the needed framework for windows. It is available for Mac only.
